It's been three hard years in the making and that deserves a celebration! Kick off your fall festivities as we publicly unveil our first edition release of Davidson Reserve Tennessee Straight Rye Whiskey under the newly branded Pennington Distilling Co. name. October 17th marks the three year anniversary of the laying of our first barrel to age. Over the next few years, we will continue to release various whiskey expressions and run our roots deeper into Nashville soil. On site, we will have food catered in by Urban Grub, live music brought to you Lightning 100 and an opportunity to get your first edition bottle before it hits your local retailers' shelves! Humans must be 21+ and dogs are welcome, but must be leashed.

Kicking off the tone for the night will be local spotlight artists, The Future and The VooDoo Fix! Sure to keep you on your feet, they'll be sounding off starting at 6 p.m.

Taking the stage as this year's headliner, legendary soul singer, Charles "Wigg" Walker, will be featuring Guthrie Trapp & Friends to take it to the next level! One of the remaining original soul singers, his vocals will appeal to both those that heard him back in the day or those that are among the resurgence of soul music appreciators.

Experience live fire cooking over THREE open pits with the team from Urban Grub led by Executive Chef, Edgar Pendley. Enjoy their elevated southern cuisine of combining local flair, culture and quality.

Food will be available for purchase via tokens.

In case your mouth needs watering, here's a sneak peek at a few of the evening's items: lamb brisket, pork belly sandwiches, roasted chicken thighs, Peking duck tacos, variety of fresh sausages, Blackhawk beef burgers (for the early birds!) and more! Most importantly, HOT HOMEMADE DOUGHNUTS. You're welcome.

"Formed in the south-side of Los Angeles, The Voodoo Fix is a larger than life rock band that blends genres of rock, funk, and southern soul into one seamless sound. The Voodoo Fix won Lightning 100’s Music City Mayhem and is poised for success in Nashville and beyond. Live, (they) put it all on the table leaving crowds ecstatic, energized, and hungry for more of the high-powered, soul-sustaining rock they provide night after night. (They) live for their audience and make music “for the express purpose of making people feel good. In totality, The Voodoo Fix is a band of blue collar road warriors with worldwide history and a formidable future."

"If you fused the dynamic vocal style of Prince with Spoon's tight minimalist pop hooks and bit of Arcade Fir'es heights of grandeur, you'd kindle a spark that is The Future. The Indie-pop quartet is made up of brothers, Adam and Jordan Culver, and childhood friend, Eric Sadowsky, who left their native North Dakota to pursue their music careers. Picking up Byran Feece in Bloomington, ID, the foursome then settled into the intimate, yet competitive Nashville music scene."

Jordan Culver - Bass, BGV / Bryan Feece - Drums

"Guthrie Trapp is one of Nashville’s preeminent guitar talents. He’s currently finishing work on a follow-up to his successful solo album, Pick Peace, a 2012 showcase for Trapp’s stellar talent that long supported the careers of superstar artists and his own bands. Pick Peace served as a perfect template for Trapp’s brilliant mix of musical influences, exploring country, blues, Latin, reggae, jazz, rock and experimental music.

Onstage or in the studio, Trapp has supported the world’s most talented and best-selling artists including Garth Brooks, John Oates, Trisha Yearwood, Vince Gill, Travis Tritt, Dolly Parton, Tim O’Brien, Delbert McClinton, Randy Travis, George Jones, Alison Krauss, Sam Bush, Tony Rice, Earl Scruggs, Lyle Lovett, Rosanne Cash, “Cowboy” Jack Clement and many others."
